Special Educational Needs (SEN)

The school has a well-established department of Learning Support for children with special educational needs or specific learning difficulties, such as dyslexia or dyspraxia. Learning Support Department is headed by School Psychologist who is an expert
Students needing special assistance are taught in small groups or individually according to the degree and nature of their specific need.
The Learning Support hours are typically after school hours and only available for the residential student group.
Social and Emotional Learning (SEL)

Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) is a process for helping children develop fundamental skills for life effectiveness. SEL teaches the skills we all need to handle ourselves, our relationships, and our work effectively and ethically. These skills include recognizing and managing our emotions, developing caring and concern for others, establishing positive relationships, making responsible decisions, and handling challenging situations constructively and ethically.
TJIS SEL committee led by the School Psychologist organises Homeroom Lessons, Talk to an Expert and One on One Conferences with the students .
